Word Play Games

I love word play games, but then I’ve always believed that the best way to learn is by having fun. As a child my spelling was atrocious, but countless games of hangman and endless crosswords have fixed that (almost).

It seems to me that the power of play is something that often gets overlooked by adults in today’s busy world. So to try and correct that, and to increase the fun in the world, here is my page of word play games.

But before you choose which one you play can I first suggest that you at least try the FreeRice game. By playing it you genuinely help feed rice to people in starving nations.

The concept behind the money raising is simple – advertisers on the site only pay while somebody is playing, the more people that play the more money the advertisers have to pay. The money they pay buys rice. It’s a great concept; have fun and help feed the poor.

So please before anything else, consider the word play of FreeRice.
