Do you have a favourite creative writing exercise or idea that always gets you writing? Have you just come back from a writing retreat where you tried a new prompt that really inspired you? Perhaps you have a fail-proof way to get you writing even when you don’t feel like it? Or a journal writing prompt?
If so, I for one would love to hear about it, and I’m sure everyone else would too. You never know when a creative writing prompt will come in handy.
We all know I enjoy first line writing prompts or else why would I have posted so many daily writing prompts on this site’s
blog.
But I’d still love to hear what’s getting everyone writing.
So why not take a few minutes to fill in the form below? If you don’t know what to write, here are a few questions to get you started.
Tell us: >> about the writing exercise itself. >> why it inspire you. >> what you liked about it. >> Will you try it again? >> Will you try it slightly differently next time? >> Were you happy with the writing it triggered?
So the question is ...
What gets you writing?
